Booking Conditions
These conditions apply to bookings with: Go Beyond Safari & NASH Hospitality and Services, individually referred to as “Go Beyond Safari”. These conditions apply to all FIT bookings made through the above entities, including third-party suppliers of accommodation, activities, and transport. In case Go Beyond Safari has explicitly agreed by signed agreement to conditions that divert from the below, such explicitly agreed conditions will prevail.
Booking Confirmation
By sending a booking request, you confirm that you have read these booking conditions and agree to be bound by them. Go Beyond Safari only accepts booking requests in writing or via email. Booking requests through telephone, Skype, or other forms of communication are not accepted.
A booking is made once Go Beyond Safari has sent a written/email confirmation of the booking to you (“Booking”). Go Beyond Safari reserves the right to refuse bookings at its sole discretion, and all bookings are subject to full compliance with these terms.
Deposit and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the invoice amount is payable to Go Beyond Safari at the point of Booking to begin the confirmation of services. The deposit amount may exceed 20% depending on the conditions of partner properties or items such as gorilla permits, which require full payment for confirmation. The remaining balance must be settled at least 60 days prior to the date of arrival.
If a Booking is made within 60 days of the date of arrival, the full invoice amount must be paid within 5 days of the date of the Booking.
Notwithstanding the cancellation policy and any other rights it may have, Go Beyond Safari may release all your Bookings in the event of non-compliance and may charge a penalty interest of 7.5% per annum on any overdue amounts. Any applicable bank charges are your expense, and Go Beyond Safari is entitled to set off due amounts with any amounts received from, or held on behalf of, you.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or amendments of Bookings must be received by Go Beyond Safari in writing or by email to be effective. The following policy will apply:
- From Confirmation up to 61 days prior to arrival – the 20% deposit is retained as a booking fee and will not be refunded.
- 60 to 31 days prior to arrival – 50% of the invoice amount will be due and payable.
- 30 days or less prior to arrival – 100% of the invoice amount will be due and payable.
In the event that a third-party supplier imposes a higher cancellation penalty amount, this amount will be added to the total payable penalty amount at any stage of cancellation. No refunds will be made in case of late arrival or no show.
No amount over and above the deposit amount will be due if, upon reasonable proof, the customer is unable to honour the booking due to death or hospitalization of the person for whom the Booking was made.
Currency
All prices and rates are quoted and invoiced in US$ and all payments must be made in US$. Payment in other currencies will only be accepted by pre-arrangement.
Weight & Luggage Restrictions
These limits are applicable when travelling on light air scheduled services on a seat rate basis:
- Passengers weighing more than 100kg must advise us well in advance of travel as an extra seat will have to be costed into the package for safety purposes.
- Luggage is restricted to 15kg per person unless otherwise specified. This must be packed into soft bags and includes camera equipment and carry-on luggage.
If these limits are exceeded, additional costs incurred will be for your account.
Changes in Rates
Go Beyond Safari wishes to respect agreed rates but reserves the right to change the rates and terms at any time due to circumstances beyond its control (such as fuel prices, exchange rates, camping/concession fees, service levies, or tax increases). In case of material changes caused by government bodies or similar bodies that could lead to severe losses endangering economically sustainable operations, Go Beyond Safari reserves the right to change the rates on confirmed and paid Bookings. Any third-party rate increases after Confirmation will be fully payable by you.
Photography and Marketing
You hereby grant Go Beyond Safari a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, modify, copy, adapt, publish, reproduce, and distribute for general publicity purposes any photographs or films produced by Go Beyond Safari that contain images or footage depicting yourself or your clients.
